Accommodation

We provide accommodation on Licence and Tenancy Agreements. Our facilities consist of en-suite bedrooms shared houses & self-contained flats. We have a dedicated staff team, with a Support Worker assigned to each individual resident in order to provide regular high quality person-centred support. We help our residents to identify, and review, their needs to create a tailor-made support and action plan which enables them to learn the skills necessary to successfully live independently and achieve their goals in the future.

Falcon Centre

The Falcon Centre, a part of Housing Matters is the hub of Falcon Support Services providing 30 en-suite rooms in catered accommodation on a Licence Agreement. We opened in April 2013 to provide supported accommodation to vulnerable people who are over 18 years of age, single homeless, with a local connection to Leicestershire.

We have a flexible approach to working with the most vulnerable in the community, giving every person every chance to succeed. The Falcon Centre is staffed 24/7 and we understand that homelessness is rarely just a housing problem. We work hard to provide a holistic approach using formal and informal learning opportunities. Cooking workshops, gym sessions, football training, money management courses, quiz nights, arts and crafts, pool competitions, film nights and independent living skills workshops operate within the Falcon Centre. Service users are at the heart of our operations and we value service user involvement with an elected resident representative and regular residents meetings.

Inside the Falcon Centre

Peregrine House

A partnership with the Community Rehabilitation Company housing ex-offenders in a 5 bed shared house on Licence agreements. Staffed 24/7 support is provided to help people to turn their lives around and re-integrate into their communities.

Holly House

A 5 bed shared house accommodating those that are homeless or at risk of homelessness and believed to be priority need by Charnwood Borough Council. Accommodated on a Licence Agreement this is short term stay supported accommodation which is staffed 24/7.

Park House

A six bedroomed shared house let on a Licence Agreement in Loughborough town centre offering 24-hour support in a safe environment to 18 – 35 year olds, we prevent the most vulnerable people from becoming homeless and provide them with medium-term accommodation. Individual support plans and sessions are designed to provide the residents with independent living skills that will help them plan and prepare a more positive future. Many of our people will move on to their own flats at Falcon Support Services’ Marshalls Court project.

Marshalls Court

When our service users aged 18 – 35 years old have the basic skills to live independently, they are accommodated on a Tenancy Agreement for up to two years at our Marshalls Court project in a quiet area of Loughborough but still within walking distance of the town centre. Most service users have spent some time at Park House who then move into one of ten one bedroomed flats at Marshalls Court.

They will still be provided with the same support by the same workers as Park House which benefits the often difficult transition to living independently. Our service users learn about budgeting and paying bills, employment and being responsible neighbours in preparation for a move on to permanent housing.

MOOR HOUSE

A three bedroomed shared house let on a Licence Agreement in Loughborough town centre. Used as a Move On option for the Falcon Centre for those with low level support needs and awaiting an offer of more permanent accommodation.

Asylum Services

Working in partnership with Leicestershire Children and Families Services, Falcon Support Services also provides accommodation and support for 18+, leaving care, male unaccompanied asylum seekers.
