MUTO BUS OPEN FOR BUSINESS

Community Workshops and Bus Rental available

Muto has been developed from the success of Second Chance.

The innovative project works mainly with seized counterfeit goods from Trading Standards and teaches volunteers how to upcycle them into new products.

The project is run from a converted library bus enabling us to run workshops in rural communities and other hard to reach communities.

Muto works with the most marginalised and disadvantaged people in the community and offers a wide range of skill development including creative, business, IT and retail.

The project has proved to increase self-‐esteem and confidence, provide positive activities and reduce social isolation improving welfare. The upcycled products are sold through our online shop and at local and regional events. www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MUTOrecycled

The Muto bus is also available to hire so can attend events near you, hold staff team days or children or adult parties.

A volunteer induction programme is available and additional options for development through Platform2. Volunteers are also eligible for our volunteer reward scheme.
